Pine Crest School is proud to announce a two-year global research and venture-building partnership with the London School of Economics (LSE) Global School of Sustainability and LSE Generate. The project focuses on longevity, healthy aging and the future of work.
The partnership begins with a trip to Tokyo, Japan, where students in Pine Crest’s three-year Social Entrepreneurship Program will begin an immersive research experience exploring two key questions shaping the future of humanity: “How do we live longer?” and “What can we learn from those who have lived the longest?”
While in Tokyo, Pine Crest students will examine long-living communities, including the renowned Blue Zones, as part of an Intergenerational AI and Innovation Research Sprint. The students’ fieldwork will investigate how culture, environment, neuroscience, technology and social connection influence lifespan, well-being and human potential.
Guided by faculty and researchers from LSE, Pine Crest students have spent the fall semester preparing through seminars, guided readings and training in advanced AI platforms for data collection and qualitative research.
This exclusive partnership places Pine Crest students at the center of a global research and entrepreneurship network spanning the United Kingdom, United States, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, the Philippines and more.
The research sprint will culminate in Japan at the Global Futures Forum, where students will present original ventures focused on healthy aging and life longevity. This partnership reflects Pine Crest School’s deep commitment to globally connected, research-driven, purpose-filled learning, equipping students to become thoughtful, interdisciplinary problem-solvers for the future.
