Pine Crest Upper School Student Writers Earn Recognition in 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

 

Pine Crest student writers have earned recognition in the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, one of the nation’s most prestigious competitions honoring creative teens. This year, 12 Pine Crest students received awards across multiple writing categories, including Gold Keys, Silver Keys and Honorable Mentions.

Among the top honors, Ulyana Sharapova ’26 and Ari Panjwani ’27 received Gold Keys, the highest regional award. Gold Key recipients advance to the national level of judging, where their work will be considered for national medals and scholarships.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, have recognized outstanding young writers and artists since 1923 and remain the nation’s longest-running program for creative teens.
