Pine Crest Middle and Upper School students in the Science Research Program showcased their research at the Florida Junior Academy of Science (FJAS) recently.

Students presented in both speaker and poster sessions in several categories: Behavioral, Biological, Environmental Science, Medicine & Health and Physical Science. The FJAS competition is the Florida chapter of the American Junior Academy of Science and recognizes outstanding original research by high school students statewide.

Students who placed at FJAS are invited to attend the American Junior Academy of Science conference, held in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting, where they are inducted as lifetime Fellows of AJAS, an honor society recognizing outstanding high school researchers from across the United States.
