Awards & Achievements


Thirteen (13) Pine Crest Middle School students and five Upper School student researchers participated in the 71st Annual Florida State Science and Engineering Fair, joining more than 900 finalists from across Florida to present original scientific research.

Pine Crest students earned an impressive collection of category awards, special recognitions and nominations, including three students advancing to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

Senior Division (Upper School)

Animal Sciences

  • Colette Petit ’27 – 4th Place in Category

Intelligent Machines, Robotics and Systems Software

  • Aditya Kumar ’27 – 4th Place in Category
  • Vedaant Agarwal ’27 – 3rd Place in Category; selected as one of only three students from Broward County to advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair
  • Koray Abramson ’27 – 3rd Place in Category; selected as one of only three students from Broward County to advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair

Physics

  • Kobi Weitzman ’27 – 3rd Place in Category; selected as one of only three students from Broward County to advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair

  • Masha Kuznetcova ’30 – 1st Place in Category; nominated for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge
  • Bianca Garfi ’30 – 3rd Place in Category
