Nov 27 - Nov 29
Pine Crest Upper School student-artist Caterina Farrell ’26 has earned a National Gold Medal for her piece “Rush Hour,” marking her third consecutive national gold honor, a rare and remarkable achievement in the competition’s history.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens, receive thousands of submissions each year. Earning a National Gold Medal represents the highest level of distinction.
Caterina’s continued success places her among an elite group of young artists nationwide. In addition to her three consecutive gold medals, her work has been featured in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards National Magazine for the past two years, further highlighting her exceptional talent and consistency.
“Rush Hour” is currently on display at the Young At Art Museum in Plantation, offering the community an opportunity to experience her work firsthand.
This achievement builds on the previously announced Pine Crest School Scholastic Awards recipients this winter.
Congratulations, Caterina!
