Pine Crest Upper School Wrestler Earns State Runner-Up Title

Pine Crest Upper School student-athlete Andrew Chen ’27 earned the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state runner-up title in wrestling recently.
Teammate Jake Lobis ’26 also delivered a strong performance, placing fifth in his weight class at the state championship tournament.
Andrew and Jake advanced to the state competition alongside teammates Ethan Stone ’26 and Sam Brown ’29, following standout performances at the regional level.
The tournament brought together the top high school wrestlers from across Florida to compete for individual state titles.
Congratulations to Andrew, Jake, Ethan and Sam on this outstanding achievement.
