Six (6) Pine Crest Upper School Chorus students earned top recognition at the Florida State Solo and Ensemble Festival

Students qualified for the state-level competition after receiving Superior ratings for their solo performances at the district festival in February. At the state event, participants were evaluated on criteria including tone quality, technical preparation and overall musical performance.

Representing Pine Crest at the state festival were:

  • Audrey Sobchak ’26 – Musical Theatre
  • Lucy Fasulo ’26 – Classical
  • Sam Scheiner ’26 – Musical Theatre
  • Mia Romay ’29 – Musical Theatre
  • Zoe Lolis ’28 – Musical Theatre
  • Chyriece Perido ’27 – Jazz/Rock

All six students earned State Superior ratings, the highest possible distinction at the competition. Sam Scheiner ’26 received an additional honor of Superior with Distinction.

In addition, the three senior performers were recognized with Founder’s Awards and performed at the School’s recent Founder’s Assembly.

Congratulations to these talented vocalists for their outstanding achievements at the state level.
