Middle School Awards & Achievements

Pine Crest Middle School engineering students from the Boca Raton campus recently participated in the ExploraVision competition, a national STEM program sponsored by the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) that challenges students to imagine and communicate innovative future technologies.

Among this year’s participants, Juan Yoshikay ’31, Colette Fischer ’31 and Austin White ’31 earned Honorable Mention for their project as the Developing CMPP Team, recognizing their creativity and forward-thinking approach to engineering design.

Additional Pine Crest teams also developed innovative concepts as part of their engineering coursework:

  • Masha Kuznetcova ’30, Liam Kahn ’30 and Remy Sager ’30 – Interstellar Gas Station Team

  • Ariana Khatchikian ’30, Megan-Kay Alexandre ’30 and Payton Greco ’30 – Omni-Cloud Smart Pillow Team

The ExploraVision competition encourages students to think critically about the future of science and technology while developing research, collaboration and presentation skills.

Congratulations to all of our Middle School engineers for their creativity and dedication to innovation.
