Sixty (60) Pine Crest Middle School thespians from the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale campuses recently competed in the Florida Junior Thespians District Festival.

In total, the troupes earned 80 Superior and Excellent medals, four Critics’ Choice, and one Honorable Mention, which are the two top scores for an event category. The troupes compete in different districts, Palm Beach and Broward Counties, respectively, and will meet at the state competition in January 2022.
 
The following Boca Raton campus students will advance to the state competition: Claudia Ajay ’26, Talia Avivi ’26, Chloe Chluski ’28, Alice Gnesin ’26, Adelle Gozdanker ’27, Simran Grover ’26, Angela Harrah ’26, Ava Jarow ’28, Sutton Kalogeras ’28, Tinsley Louv ’26, Neha Narwani ’27, Tillie Pepos-Lebrun ’26, Victoria PriyaChang ’27, Audrey Rao ’27, Emmi Rogovin ’27, Jessica Schmilovich ’28, Hailey Shapiro ’28, Alexis Small ’28, and Amanda Thorson ’26.

The following Fort Lauderdale campus students will advance to the state competition: Natasha Bodmer ’26, Mia Meli ’26, Sam Scheiner ’26, Liam Freeman ’27, Michaela Lang ’27, Serena Xu ’27, Elyse Jeannot ’28, Victoria Popov ’28, and Riley Zelnick ’28.
