Pine Crest Middle School Students Win “What If” Challenge for Innovative Design

Pine Crest Middle School students Ariana Khatchikian ’30 and Catarina Fetzner ’31 were named winners of the “What If” Challenge, sponsored by The Center for Arts and Innovation in Boca Raton.

All three sections of Boca Raton Middle School’s Competitive Engineering classes submitted entries for the challenge, which asked students to envision and design creative spaces for innovation and learning. Out of 200 total participants, Ariana and Catarina’s designs stood out for their originality, functionality and thoughtful approach.

Ariana’s submission earned the top design award in her age category, recognizing her exceptional vision and creativity. Catarina was also honored and has been selected to serve as a Junior Board Member for The Center. Board Members support The Center’s efforts to connect with and inspire students across the community.
