Pine Crest Middle School student-musician Raymond Chiang ’27 has been selected as a Florida State Piano Concerto Competition Finalist.  

Raymond competed in the Florida State Music Teachers Association (FSMTA) District 6 Virtual Concerto Competition, where his submission was selected to advance to the State competition.

In addition to piano, Raymond plays the flute in the Middle School Concert Band and the alto-saxophone in the Jazz Band. He was named to the 2021 Broward County Band Directors Association All-County Honor Bands for both concert and jazz band.
