Pine Crest Upper School orchestra students have been selected to join the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, in New York City and Musikverein in Vienna, Austria.

The Series was established with the goal of distinguishing talented student musicians in a once-in-a-lifetime performance. Selected musicians rehearse and perform under master conductors and have the opportunity to meet other like-minded musicians from around the world. Though much of the students' time is focused on performance preparation, the week also allows students to experience the best of the sights and the performance arts in their respective cities.

Sophia Wang ’25, cello, Olivia Avny ’23, violin, Saiya Mittal ’24, violin, Alexandria Guerrier ’25, cello and Asha Gandreti ’25, viola have been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in February 2022.

William Jeannot ’24, bass, and Asha Gandreti ’25, viola, were selected to perform at the Musikverein in Vienna, Austria in July 2022.

Congratulations to all!
