Twenty-one (21) members of the Pine Crest Upper School chorus participated in the prestigious University of Miami (UM) High School Honors Choir.
This immersive musical experience brought together talented student vocalists to rehearse and perform under the direction of renowned composer and conductor Jennifer Lucy Cook.

Throughout the day, students worked closely with faculty and students from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. They were also treated to inspiring performances by the award-winning UM a cappella group “BisCaydence” and the UM Jazz Choir.
The event culminated in a powerful side-by-side performance with the Frost Chorale, conducted by Jennifer Lucy Cook, who also accompanied the choir on synthesizer during her original composition “Monster, Monster.”

Pine Crest students were accompanied by their Directors Mr. Michael Testa and Mr. Jared Doyle, along with UM alumna Dr. Nancy Baker.
