Pine Crest Upper School student Maya Todorov ’26 had an original essay published in the 2025 edition of NEHS Triangle, the annual literary magazine of the National English Honor Society (NEHS).

Maya’s essay, “Religious Desolation and Transformation: The Role of Faith in T.S. Eliot’s Poetry,” was selected by the Pine Crest English Department for consideration by the NEHS. Her work explores complex themes of faith and spiritual evolution in Eliot’s poetry, demonstrating both intellectual depth and literary insight.

Maya joined Pine Crest’s chapter of NEHS last year and is serving as an officer during her senior year.

Congratulations, Maya!
