Upper School Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest Upper School students presented original research at the Broward County Regional Science and Engineering Fair recently.

Taking first place in the Biomedical and Health Sciences category were Christian Geter ’23, Hayley Hodes ’24, Maya Hoteit ’23, and Daniel Wilentz ’23.

Additionally, Daniel Kathein ’23 won first place in the Intelligent Machines, Robotics, and Systems Software category. 

Christian, Hayley, Maya, Daniel, and Daniel will advance to the State Science and Engineering Fair this April. 

Other notable award winners include: 
Hadley Edwards ’24, second place: Cellular/Molecular Biology and Biochemistry
Zachary Harpaz ’24, second place: Biomedical and Health Sciences
Dhiya Reddy ’23, second place: Biomedical and Health Sciences
Alex Schnurman ’24, second place: Biomedical and Health Sciences
Joshua Martoma ’24, third place: Behavioral Sciences
Max Winnick ’23, third place: Physics
