Fine Arts Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest Middle School junior thespian troupes competed at the Florida State Junior Thespian Festival recently.


The 29 students from the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale campuses attended the conference representing two troupes, one for Palm Beach County and one for Broward County. The conference included guest artists, actors, and choreographers including Broadway actor George Salazar. Students attended technical workshops and ended a weekend of events with a performance.


The troupes earned a total of 12 Superior and 14 Excellent medals.
