Upper School Awards & Achievements


The Pine Crest Upper School yearbook, The Crestian, has earned recognition from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA).

The CSPA recognized three student-journalists and the entire staff for their work on the 75th edition of The Crestian, When Everything is TBD We Remain Determined.

John Hight ’21 received first place for "Student Life Feature Writing" with his piece “Understanding is the Key to Safeguarding Democracy.” 

Emma Gómez ’22 received second place for "Informational Graphics" with her spread “Living in a Digital Generation.” 
 
Elani Kodner ’24 received an Honorable Mention for her "Informational Graphics Portafolio" for her sports’ spreads collection. 

The Crestian Staff received an Honorable Mention for their “People Spreads without Mugs” for their grade closers.
