Students Take Top Honors in Barry University Chemistry and Physics Olympiad

Upper School Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest Upper School Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry and Physics students competed in the 18th Annual Chemistry and Physics Tournament held at Barry University recently.

The teams competed against 12 south Florida schools with 120 competing students.

In the Chemistry component, Aashay Badgamia ’20, Alan Goff ’20, Jared Gould ’20, Blake Kravitz ’20, Eli Seiner ’20, and Arielle Rothenberg ’20 placed first in the oral exam, first in laboratory part, and first overall.

In the Physics component, Rodrigo Castellon ’19, Clara Nguyen ’19, Jabari Owens ’19, Rose Rothschild ’19, Nathaniel Selub ’19, and Ishani Singh ’19 earned third place overall. Rose also placed tenth in the individual competition.
