Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest Middle and Upper School science research students recently competed at the 70th Annual Florida State Science and Engineering Fair.

Students competed against more than 900 finalists from across the state.

Three Middle School students of the eight who attended earned first place recognition for their original research in their respective divisions: Stella Burkhardt ’29 in the Junior Behavioral Science Division, Ella Hensbergen ’29 in the Junior Biomedical Science Division and Penelope Kirkbride ’29 in the Junior Chemistry Division. Ella Hensbergen's project was also selected for the Junior Division Grand Award. 

The Upper School group of six had four students place second for their work. Mia Farber ’26 in the Senior Biomedical and Health Division, Mia Rozenberg ’25 in the Senior Cellular and Molecular Biology Division, Annika Sachdeva ’25 in the Senior Mathematics and Computational Science Division and William Wakefield ’25 in the Senior Intelligent Machines, Robotics and Software Division. 

Additionally, Mia Farber, Mia Rozenberg, and William Wakefield all advanced to the International Science and Engineering Fair.
