Pine Crest School Tennis Doubles Earn State Championship

The Pine Crest tennis doubles team of Koray Abramson ’27 and Ashwin Chawla ’25 have earned the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 2A state championship.

The pair earned a spot in the state championship and a first-round bye with their district title. In the quarterfinals, the team won the match 6-4, 6-3. They then won their semifinal match by the same score. 

In the finals, Koray and Ashwin defeated a talented duo from Calvary Christian-Clearwater by a score of 6-2, 6-4.
