Upper School Awards & Achievements


Pine Crest Upper School student Thalia Ferro '24 has received a Gold Circle Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA).


The Gold Circle Awards are a highly competitive program for recognizing excellence in individual student journalism. Thalia received second place in the Entertainment Reviews category for her article "The Nina Johnson Gallery.


Thalia has been a writer for The PC Paw Print, the Upper School student newspaper, since her freshman year where she serves as the managing editor and the section editor for the Arts and Entertainment Section.
