Florida Science Olympiad State Competition

Team members were: Descartes Holland, Max Haubenstock, Hannah Montague (ninth grade); Allison Belette, William Keiser, Jelani Owens, Ajay Singh, Brian Tighe, Tristen Vaughan, Niki Wadhwa (eighth grade); Kristina Nemeth, Michael Varnerin (seventh grade); Christopher Revilla, Jeffery Rozanski, and Garret Rukes (sixth grade).

Individual event winners: 1st place – Kristina Nemeth and Max Haubenstock for Meteorology

• 1st place – Ajay Singh and Brian Tighe for Write It, Do It
• 3rd place – Tristen Vaughan and Max Haubenstock for Shock Value
• 3rd place – Niki Wadhwa andBrian Tighe for Can’t Judge a Powder
