Pine Crest Upper School English instructor Dr. Jack Stewart has published a book of poetry titled “No Reason.”

Published by Cascade Book in their Poeima Poetry Series, “No Reason” explores the relationship between faith, art, and the everyday, identifying the holy in both the imagined and the common. 

Dr. Stewart’s poetry has appeared in more than 50 journals and anthologies, including “Poetry, The American Literary Review, The Dark Horse Review” (Scotland), “Poetry Salzburg” (Austria), “The Journal of the American Medical Association,” and other journals and anthologies, most recently in “Image” and in “Carolina Quarterly.” Over the past several years, his poetry has appeared in journals in Northern Ireland, Wales, Australia, and the United States.
