Pine Crest Upper School student Mira Sarigollu ’24 won first place in the 2023 Congressional Artistic Discovery Art Competition for high school students in Florida's 20th district.

The competition is an annual contest sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives in which every congressional district selects a winning piece of artwork from a local high school student.

Mira’s artwork, “Livewire,” will be on display for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. She will also receive two plane tickets to travel to Washington, D.C. in June for special events held in honor of Artistic Discovery winners from across America.

Congratulations, Mira!
