Pine Crest School Junior Classical League Advances to State Forum

The Pine Crest School Junior Classical League will advance to the Florida State Forum, which will be held from April 19 to 21 in Orlando.
The Junior Classical League is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the study of Latin, Greek, and Classical Civilization. Affiliated with the National Junior Classical League, the NJCL was established in 1936 and has become one of the largest academic youth organizations in the world. Currently, there are more than 50,000 members in approximately 1,200 chapters, located in each state and in several foreign countries.

The Pine Crest club participated in the region VIII forum hosted by the Junior Classical League chapter at Northeast High School. The students finished with three bronze medals for their participation in the Certāmen Advanced level and one gold medal for Classical Art in the academic testing category.
