Pine Crest School Coach Named of Coach of the Year by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association

Pine Crest School’s Paul Baur, Track and Field Program Head, has been named Coach of the Year by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA)
The award, given by the Florida Track Coaches Hall of Fame, comes after a successful Spring 2018 track and field season. Season highlights included Tsion Yared ’20 earning the state championship title for the 3200 meter race, with her sister Mahdere Yared ’21 coming in as the state-runner up and Tony Bridges ’18 earning the state championship in the boys’ triple jump.

“I am honored to represent Pine Crest in receiving this award and do so thanks to all the support the community has given me,” said Coach Baur. “Of course, I couldn't do it without my amazing assistant coaches and our incredibly dedicated and hard working student-athletes!”

Congratulations, Coach Baur!
