Application Fee - $100, non-refundable fee submitted online through the Pine Crest website once the application has been submitted.
Campus Tour - We encourage you to become as familiar with Pine Crest School as possible. The best way to get to know Pine Crest is to visit us! Please contact the Office of Admission to schedule a group weekday tour with one of our parent volunteers and/or register to attend one of our Open House programs. Parents are welcome to either come separately from their child or bring their child with them, whichever they prefer. An individual meeting with an Admission Officer is also available and welcomed. Student Questionnaire - Completed by the student and sent to the Office of Admission via e-mail, fax or mail.
Copy of Birth Certificate; Copy of Passport, if the applicant is not a U.S. citizen.
Teacher Recommendation Forms - Submitted after November 1 by the parent/guardian to the child's school and returned directly to Pine Crest School.
Transcript Request Form - Official grades/transcripts must be sent to the Office of Admission after the first grading period of the current academic year. Transcripts must come directly to Pine Crest School from the sending school in a sealed envelope.
Testing - Grades 6-8 applicants will take the Middle Level SSAT, and applicants for grade 9-11 will take the Upper Level SSAT. The SSAT is offered at the Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton campuses beginning in October. The applicant may choose to take the test on one of our campuses or at another testing location. To register, please visit www.ssat.org. Select the test, location and testing date. We encourage students to register for the fall/early winter test dates to be considered in the first round of admission decisions. Please make sure SSAT forwards the test results directly to Pine Crest School. The SSAT code for the Fort Lauderdale campus is 5794. The SSAT code for the Boca Raton campus is: 5795.
Interviews/Student Visits (applicants to grades 6-11): Grade 6 applicants are invited to spend a day at Pine Crest as part of their admission process once the application, teacher recommendation form and school records have been received. The class visit may also include an interview with an Admission Officer or Division Head. Grade 7-11 applicants may be invited for an interview once the application is complete.
