Pine Crest Lower School students in grades one through five actively participate in math and literacy (reading, writing, and word study) each day. In addition to core academic subjects, students go to daily "specials" in art, music, movement, Spanish, or computer science. Students have recess and physical education lessons every day with an option of attending additional music or tennis lessons.

As students progress through Lower School, they have the opportunity to particiapte in after-school enrichment classes.

The oldest students in the Lower School are honing the critical skills needed for Middle School and beyond. Math, literacy (reading, writing, and word study), science, and social studies classes are taken every day. Students' "specials" are attended more frequently in the fourth and fifth grade with more course options available.

Physical education remains a daily offering, and students may still opt to use that period for dance, music, or tennis lessons.

After school, students may enroll in our extended day program, private lesson, or after-school enrichment activity. Click here for more information.
