After-School Programs at Pine Crest

Life is a series of experiences. Why limit yourself?

Students are encouraged to try enrichment programs during their Pine Crest journey. A variety of academics, athletics, and fine arts enrichment programs are offered to all students at Pine Crest School.

Private, semi-private, and group lessons are available during and after school for all students to help students discover their passion. Our enrichment program allows students to embrace their individuality.

Lower School After-School Programs

Parents often enroll their Lower School children in after-school enrichment activities, after-school swim or music lessons, extended day care, or a combination. Our Lower School Enrichment Program allows students to explore and develop a variety of interests. All classes are presented in a fun and skill-building environment.

  • Boca Raton | After-School Programs

    There are up to three sessions of classes throughout the year, each running from seven to 13 weeks in length. Classes are typically held Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

  • Boca Raton | Extended Day

    We offer an Extended Day Program to families with children enrolled in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Extended Day is designed to be a convenient and helpful service to our parents and fun for our students. This program begins at dismissal each afternoon and ends promptly at 5:45 p.m. on all full days of class. Children may first go to an after-school class or activity, and then to the Extended Day Program for the remainder of the afternoon until pick up. There are no scheduled classes for our after-school or extended day programs on half-days of school or on school holidays.   • Fort Lauderdale | After-School Programs

    There are two sessions of classes throughout the year, each running from eight to twelve weeks in length. Classes are typically held Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. For more information, contact the Lower School Office at 954-776-2142.

  • Fort Lauderdale | Extended Day

    Our Fort Lauderdale Campus offers an Extended Day Program to families with children enrolled in pre-kindergarten through grade five. A Pine Crest teacher directs the program from dismissal to 6:15 p.m. on full class days. Flexibility is a prime objective of Extended Day. If parents wish, students can go first to swimming or tennis lessons, art lessons or extra-help sessions, and then join Extended Day for the remainder of the afternoon. An afternoon snack is provided. Planned activities includes time on our state-of-the-art playground, arts and crafts activities, board games, recreational reading, special guest performances, viewing of varsity team competitions, and for the older students, supervised study time. Middle School After-School Programs

Middle School students may choose to stay after school for extra help or supervised study time in the library or to participate in a club meeting or activity. Competitive Middle School sports teams may travel after school to another school for a game, and on occasion, students involved in the Fine Arts may put in extra time for performances or lessons.

Upper School After-School Programs

An Upper School students spend time after school with a teacher for extra help, participate in a competitive sport or club meeting, cover a game for PCTV Sports, rehearse for a performance, join a competitive robotics team or tinker in the Zimmerman Family iLab, or more.
