Pine Crest School's Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton campuses are secured 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by uniformed, trained, and certified personnel. Each security team member has prior law enforcement and/or military experience, and is trained to assist in traffic control, administer CPR and AED, and respond to all emergencies. Security officers monitor both campuses with closed circuit television cameras and alarm systems, and patrol with marked units, including Segways®, bicycles, golf carts, and patrol cars.
Cooperative partnerships with the Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton Police Departments, along with security training presentations and audits to schools throughout the country, have led Pine Crest into the forefront of school safety and security. Our security program has been recognized as a model for independent schools by private security companies and police agencies throughout the country.
The Jessica Lunsford Act requires that all employees, contractors, and vendors complete an extensive background check and wear photo identification badges while on the premises.
- All visitors must check in with the Security Office when entering campus.
- All visitors must present valid photo identification, such as a driver's license, before entering campus.
- All visitors must visibly wear a photo identification pass issued by the Security Office while on campus.
