Awards & Achievements Upper School

The PC Paw Print, Pine Crest Upper School’s student-run newspaper, has earned a Gold Medal in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s (CSPA) 2025–26 Medalist Critique.

The recognition marks a significant achievement for the publication, which improved its score by more than 100 points after earning a Silver Medal the previous year.

The CSPA Medalist Critique evaluates student publications against established journalism standards. Experienced journalism advisers from across the United States and abroad independently assess publications and provide detailed feedback on their work.

Under the guidance of faculty adviser Dr. Alexandra Parsons, The PC Paw Print provides Upper School students with opportunities to develop their reporting, writing and editorial skills while covering news and events relevant to the Pine Crest community.

Congratulations to the student journalists and editorial team of The PC Paw Print on this national recognition!
