Pine Crest School Art Instructor Displays Art at Art Miami
Pine Crest School Art Instructor Nino Liguori had artwork displayed at Art Miami recently.
Mr. Liguori had his original work on display and for sale at Spectrum, a curated contemporary art show, and Red Dot, a modern and contemporary art show.
Additionally, he served on a panel called “How to Basel” sponsored by Culture Owl and Artserve. The panel shared how to best navigate Art Basel and the many pop up and satellite events in Miami.
“I feel so blessed and honored to be able to continue to have and participate in these opportunities,” said Mr. Liguori of participating in Art Miami events. “I have also been incredibly supported by the Pine Crest administration and my colleagues in the art department. It was such a blast this year when some Pine Crest teachers came to meet me at my shows. It was an absolute pleasure, and I still revere the occasion.”
This year, Mr. Liguori debuted two works created in 3D.
“The 3D Technique does in fact work; it makes the volume of the reds and the blues pop,” said Mr. Ligurori. “This gives the viewer an enhanced and exceedingly personal relationship to one area of the painting. However, the 3D glasses, in both cases are reminders to not lose sight of the entire painting. And the goal is to enjoy the piece with the glasses on but contrastly, enjoy the entire painting more with the glasses off.”
Mr. Liguori also had five works on display at Fiola Restaurant in Coral Gables.
