Pine Crest School Alumni and Student Filmmakers Receive Recognition from AAHSFF

Pine Crest School alumni and student filmmakers received recognition from the All-American High School Film Festival (AAHSFF).
Alexander Edep ’17 wrote and directed the film “House 10-16,” which is about a police officer who is called to investigate an abandoned house. Justin Danzansky ’17 was the cinematographer and director of photography; Alexis Kesselman ’15 wrote the score, and junior Zoe Fermanian ’20 did the special effects makeup. Additionally, Pine Crest Upper School Social Science and Film Studies Instructor Kerri Alexanderson joined the crew as an executive producer.

The film was also named an official selection of the LA Film Awards where Alexander was awarded the Youth Filmmaker Award.
