Pine Crest School Soccer Teams Earn FHSAA Academic Championships

The Pine Crest School boys’ and girls’ soccer teams have earned first place in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Academic Team Champion Program for winter sports.
The FHSAA Academic Team Champion recognition program honors teamwork in competition and in the classroom. The program recognizes teams in each of the Association’s sanctioned and recognized sports, naming an Academic Team Champion in each classification.

Pine Crest is the defending FHSAA Academic Champion having earned the title for the first time last year.

Currently, Pine Crest is in the lead to win the Academic Championship for 5A schools, and is in second place for the state of Florida.

Rounding out the winter sports, boys’ basketball was the runner up, the girls’ finished fifth, and girls’ weightlifting finished third.

Congratulations to all, and Go Panthers!
