Upper School Awards & Achievements

Pine Crest Upper School student Ilana Hutzler ’20 has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers for her original poetry.

Ilana earned two Gold Keys, a Silver Key, and two Honorable Mentions. Ilana was also nominated for an American Voices & Visions Award. One of five nominees from the Southeast region, Ilana is in the running to receive an American Voices Medal or an American Visions Medal. These Medalists are celebrated at the National Exhibition in New York City.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the oldest and most prestigious creative arts recognition program in the nation. Through the Awards program, the Alliance, whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent, offers teens the opportunity to receive a scholarship and have their work exhibited and published.

Congratulations, Ilana!
