Affording Pine Crest School

Pine Crest School is committed to building a socioeconomically diverse student body. Our need-based financial and inclusion aid program helps make the full Pine Crest experience accessible to families. Financial aid assists with base tuition and inclusion aid ensures that students may participate in extracurricular activities.

Financial and inclusion aid are made possible by our generous community through annual fundraising, endowment revenues, and part of the School's budget. 

Thanks to donations from alumni, families, and friends of the School, Pine Crest offers financial aid to students based upon demonstrated need. Pine Crest administers a financial aid program that supports approximately 14% of our student body. 

Financial and Inclusion Aid

Applying for Financial and Inclusion Aid at Pine Crest School will not affect your acceptance.

We partner with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment for the financial aid process to help determine a family's ability to pay tuition costs.

Financial aid is awarded according to demonstrated financial need as determined by FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Each family's ability to contribute to the cost of its child's education is based upon information supplied to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.

All financial aid awards are kept confidential and re-evaluated annually.

Important Information

• Many state and federal scholarships impose significant obligations on the School, and it is for this reason that Pine Crest does not accept scholarship funds. Pine Crest families wishing to apply for outside educational assistance should inform the Office of Financial and Inclusion Aid. The School reserves the right to make determinations on the acceptance of outside educational funding, including but not limited to governmental, corporate, and/or private funding sources.
• Beginning on September 1, families may apply online through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. The application fee is $40.
• Returning students placed on a "hold status" due to academic, behavioral, or financial reasons run the risk of losing Financial Aid if their application is not processed before the deadline.
• A delay in supplying information to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will affect a family's consideration for funds.
• Families who are applying for financial aid should NOT file for extensions with the IRS.
