Pine Crest's modern fleet of buses is owned and maintained by the School. Buses are safety inspected on a 30-day cycle as required by Florida regulations. All Pine Crest technicians are Florida certified to perform safety inspections and repairs. Buses are air-conditioned and equipped with seat belts, video cameras, and a radio-dispatch unit for constant communication with the Transportation Office. Bus drivers are employed year-round by Pine Crest School, receive annual training, and are CPR certified.

  • Occasional Rider

    Morning Transportation

    Parents should email Transportation by the end of the day before for morning rides to school. Transportation will communicate the details to the appropriate bus driver. All buses arrive in the parking garage.

    Afternoon Transportation

    Parents should email Transportation by 2:00 p.m. for afternoon rides from school. Transportation will communicate the details to the appropriate bus driver. All buses depart from the parking garage. Students must be on the bus by 3:50 p.m.
  • Policies and Procedures

    • Contracted one-way or round-trip riders receive discounted rates.
    • Family rates apply for multiple students.
    • One-way riders contract for either A.M. or P.M. routes for the semester.
    • Occasional riders are billed $24 per one way trip.
    • Contract riders are invoiced approximately four months prior to the next semester.
    • Riders may be added after the semester starts at the full semester price.
    • Once a rider is enrolled, any changes must be communicated in writing.
    • Once subscribed, the contract automatically renews (semester after semester) and until the date the Director of Transportation is notified in writing to cancel.
    • If a cancellation occurs after a semester begins, the contracted semester charge will be credited, and the account will be debited at the daily rate of $24 (one-way) or $48 (round trip) for each day of school from the beginning of the semester, regardless of whether the student rode the bus.
    • Routes may be subject to stop or time changes based on need.

    Discounts for Family Contract Riders:
     
    • 10% for Second Child
    • 20% for Third Child
    • 30% for Fourth Child
    *Occasional Riders: $24/one-way trip

    Bus service fees are for a single rider with discounts available for families with multiple riders. Payment is due on May 31 for the first semester and October 31 for the second semester. Fees are based on routes to conveniently located stops covering the areas bounded by Boca Raton to West Boca, south to Pembroke Lakes, and east to Golden Beach.

    *Students who are occasional riders and who are not contracted for transportation will pay $24 each way.

2019-20 Bus Service Enrollment

Parents may register their child(ren) for the 2019-20 school year by completing the Bus Service Enrollment Form and transmitting it to the transportation department.
