Providing an Inspirational Space for Reading, Research, and Study

Pine Crest School houses three resource-rich libraries for student and faculty use: the Egan Library for students in grades six through twelve on our Fort Lauderdale campus; the Hudson Library for students in grades pre-kindergarten through five on our Fort Lauderdale campus; and the Laurie S. Silvers & Mitchell Rubenstein Library Media Center for grades pre-kindergarten through eighth on our Boca Raton campus.

These beautiful spaces serve as hubs of knowledge and extensions of our Pine Crest classrooms, providing students with information literacy instruction and playing an important role in developing a lifelong love of reading. A team of professional librarians work with Lower, Middle, and Upper School students to learn best practices in library usage and database searching. Each library offers a diverse collection of both print and online media, and supports a collaborative learning community by working closely with faculty to integrate media resources into all aspects of the curriculum.

Pine Crest's collections are a result of years of selection based on student, teacher, and curriculum needs. Librarians continuously orders new materials based on student and teacher requests throughout the year.
