Pine Crest School Coleman Prize Winner Announced!
Raquel Zerbib recently received the Coleman Prize, an acknowledgment of her accomplishments as a scholar and a citizen of Pine Crest School.
The Clara Coleman prize was established in 1999 by a generous gift from Mr. and Mrs. T. Scott Coleman ’72 to honor his mother, Mrs. Clara R. Coleman. Consideration is given to character, the capacity to lead and to motivate fellow students, scholastic achievement and ability, and extracurricular attainments within the Pine Crest community in student organizations, the arts or athletics. Zerbib was chosen because her contributions both inside and outside the classroom have enriched School life.
The prestigious monetary award is given annually to the rising senior who best demonstrates versatility and merit as a student at Pine Crest School. The Coleman prize helps cover a portion of the recipient's tuition during senior year, and is not based on financial need.
