|Eighth Graders Wrap Up Year with Electric Art|
Eighth graders on Pine Crest's Fort Lauderdale campus wrapped up their study of electricity with a bang — and some flashing lights and moving parts, too! Students studied the usual topics of electricity, such as Ohm’s law, series and parallel circuits, and standard and common point schematic diagrams. “Usual” ended there, though.
|Girls Soccer Dominates Ransom Everglades|
The girls soccer team defeated Ransom Everglades 5 to 1. Autumn Clark and Madeleine Turner each had 2 goals. Freshman Eva Spyredes added the 5th. Allie Gershman, Marianna Giraldo, and Madeleine Turner each had an assist. The team record is now 2-0.
|Sam Haubenstock Finishes 9th in State Golf Tournament|
Sam Haubenstock participated in the FHSAA state finals golf tournament as an individual this week at Mission Inn Resort. She shot a 76 round one and 75 round two finishing seven over par (151) earning ninth place overall. Congratulations, Sam!
|Pine Crest School Presents 'The Nutcracker'|
Pine Crest School student dancers on the Boca Raton campus will present "The Nutcracker," an original ballet, on Friday, November 14 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 15 at 2 p.m. in the Parents' Association Performing Arts Center. The performance is free of charge, and tickets are not required.
