Five student athletes from the Class of 2014 officially committed to play collegiate-level sports at a signing ceremony today.

Pine Crest Students' Work Exhibited at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood
The gallery opening of Pine Crest students' juried art show "Off the Grid" took place on Saturday, February 1 at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. The exhibit ran through February 23.

Physics Students Add to Astronomical Database as Part of NSF Pilot
Pine Crest Upper School students in AP Physics B are piloting a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded program through the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics called the "Laboratory for the Study of Exoplanets," or “ExoLab.” ?The project is being used as an extension of the class' unit on light and the electromagnetic spectrum. 

Upper School Students Help Lower School Celebrate Pi Day
On March 14, the Lower School Students on the Fort Lauderdale Campus participated in various Pi Day related activities coordinated by the Upper School Math Club and Lower School Family Association.

Pine Crest Seniors Inducted into Cum Laude Society
Thirty-eight Upper School students from the Class of 2014 were inducted in the Cum Laude Society recently.

Fifth grade scientists on Pine Crest School's Fort Lauderdale campus hosted a Kids' Inquiry Conference (KIC) on Thursday, March 20 to share findings from their original and authentic scientific research.

Girls Track Win District Championship
For the third year in a row, the girls track team are district champions!  Sixth-grader Tsion Yared, sophomore Julia Montgomery, freshman Katherine Jovanovic, and junior Mahlet Yared finished first through fourth place in the 3200 to help secure the championship.

Panthers Baseball Win Third Consecutive Game
The baseball team defeated Highlands Christian 12-7 to extend the winning streak to three games.  

Seniors Shine in Girls Lacrosse Season Finale
Senior night was extra special as the nine graduating players helped secure a 14-3 win over Wellington.

Boca Band and Orchestra Students perform at Music Festival in Orlando
On Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5, the band and orchestra students earned top ratings including three Superior Gold Medals!

Upper School Jazz Band performs at Boca Auction
On Saturday, April 5, Boca Raton campus parents, teachers, and administrators were greeted at the Boca Raton Resort and Club by the Pine Crest Upper School Jazz Band.

Boca Lower School Students perform "The Jungle Book"
The first annual 4th and 5th grade musical, The Jungle Book, was presented on Wednesday, April 9.  Over 100 students contributed to the tremendous success of this production.

PCFL Admin Go "Wild" with an 80s Auction Rap
Let's take it back to the 80s! In support of the PCFL Auction on March 15, four of our administrators came together to sing a PC video parody of the song "Wild Thing"  by Tone Loc. From the boom box to the colored glasses to the "bling," Dr. Markham, Mr. Clark, Mr. Walters, and Mrs. Shealy put on a performance that you will not want to miss! You will go "Wild" when you see their performance!

Pine Crest Fund Volunteers Treated to an Ice Cream Social
More than 30 Boca Raton Pine Crest Fund volunteers and their children gathered for a special Ice Cream Social on February 6 in the Bernstein Family Commons Room.
