Based on their achievements at county and state science fairs, Brigitte Blanco '15 and Nicole Odzer '16 qualified to participate in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) in Los Angeles, which is the world's largest international pre-college science competition.

|Eighth Graders Wrap Up Year with Electric Art|
Eighth graders on Pine Crest's Fort Lauderdale campus wrapped up their study of electricity with a bang — and some flashing lights and moving parts, too! Students studied the usual topics of electricity, such as Ohm’s law, series and parallel circuits, and standard and common point schematic diagrams. “Usual” ended there, though.
