Eleven (11) Pine Crest School student-athletes participated in a signing ceremony on Wednesday, February 4 to announce their intent to compete at the collegiate level.

Pine Crest School to Host Summer 2015 Innovation Institute
Pine Crest School will host the 2015 Summer Innovation Institute, "Reimagining How Today's Students Learn: Inspiring Innovation and Creativity in the Classroom and Beyond," on Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12 on the Fort Lauderdale campus. A pre-conference workshop will take place on Wednesday, June 10.

Pine Crest School senior, Lauren Houle '15, has been named a semifinalist in the Intel Science Talent Search for her research titled "Investigation of Autophagy in Huntington’s Disease Using a Mutant Huntingtin Knock-in Striatal Cell Line."

Pine Crest School Students Travel to Chinese Language Competition
Thirty (30) Middle and Upper School students traveled to Jacksonville to represent Pine Crest School in the 2015 Florida Chinese Teachers Association's (FCTA) 10th annual Florida Statewide Chinese Competition (FSCC). Scheduled for Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21, students from the state of Florida attended this event.

Fourth Graders Study Diverse Boca Raton Campus Plant Life
If you have visited Pine Crest School's Boca Raton campus recently, it is likely that you have spotted Mr. Campbell’s fourth grade scientists carefully studying the diverse variety of plant life found throughout the grounds. The students have created informational field guides to better acquaint themselves and educate others about the native plant species that can be found around campus.

Second Graders Learn by Doing at the Pine Crest 'Tinkering Station'
Second graders on Pine Crest School's Fort Lauderdale campus recently worked in teams of four to build the tallest structure possible at their new "Tinkering Station." Rather than bricks and mortar or LEGO® pieces, though, the students used spaghetti, marshmallows, tape, and string!
