Pine Crest School Honors the 13th Anniversary of 9/11
Pine Crest School faculty and students honored the 13th anniversary of 9/11 today with National Day of Service and Remembrance events. Digital Media Production faculty and students poured their hearts into special productions for Lower, Middle, and Upper School students. Welcoming New Faculty
Pine Crest School has expanded our faculty to continue delivering a forward-thinking educational approach to our students. More than 45 new faculty members and administrators joined the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale for the 2014-15 school year. 

Alan Koolik '15 Advances to 'Jeopardy!' Teen Tournament Finals
Alan Koolik '15 advanced to the "Jeopardy!" Teen Tournament finals on Wednesday, July 30 as friends, family, and faculty cheered him on during a watch party held in Pine Crest's student union. 

Michael Stolzenberg '19 Selected for National Community Service Award
Pine Crest eighth grader, Michael Stolzenberg, was recently selected for a 2014 Prudential Spirit of Community Award for his outstanding achievements in community service. Michael was one of 10 national honorees - five high school students and five middle school students - who were recognized at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. in May

Pine Crest Student and Teacher Recognized by U.S. Presidential Scholar Program
Lance Oppenheim '14 has been selected as a 2014 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, and Upper School art faculty member, Mrs. Barbara Smith, is a U.S. Presidential Scholars Program's Distinguished Teacher.

Based on their achievements at county and state science fairs, Brigitte Blanco '15 and Nicole Odzer '16 qualified to participate in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) in Los Angeles, which is the world's largest international pre-college science competition.

Fifth graders on Pine Crest's Fort Lauderdale campus explored their diverse heritages at the International Festival in Egan Auditorium on May 29. 

Eighth Graders Wrap Up Year with Electric Art
Eighth graders on Pine Crest's Fort Lauderdale campus wrapped up their study of electricity with a bang — and some flashing lights and moving parts, too! Students studied the usual topics of electricity, such as Ohm’s law, series and parallel circuits, and standard and common point schematic diagrams. “Usual” ended there, though.

Pine Crest Swimmers Win Season-Opener
Pine Crest swimmers and divers kicked off their 2014-15 high school season on September 10 with a win at home against Westminster Academy. Pine Crest boys earned 170 vs. Westminster's 97 and 209 vs. Coral Springs Christian's 18. Pine Crest girls defeated Westminster 171 to 99.  

Pine Crest Cross Country Teams Off to a Strong Start
Pine Crest's boys and girls cross country teams started the season off strong last week by dominating every race at the Martin County Under the Lights Invitational. The Panthers took home team victories in all four races: JV girls, JV boys, varsity girls, and varsity boys. 

Boys Varsity Golf Places Second in Biltmore Tournament
Pine Crest's boys varsity golf team played in a 12-team, all-day tournament yesterday at The Biltmore in Coral Gables. 

Pine Crest Girls Swimming Highlighted
