  • Drop Off and Pickup

Division Heads will send drop off and pickup details before the start of school. For security purposes, Pine Crest does not post carpool details online. Boca Raton campus students begin their day at 8:05 a.m. and end by 3:25 p.m., and Fort Lauderdale students begin at 8:10 a.m. and end by 3:38 p.m. Specific dismissal times for students vary by grade and campus. This information will be sent home by teachers and Division Heads before the start of school.
  • Lunch and Snacks

Lunch is included in tuition. Dining halls on both campuses offer age-appropriate, healthy lunch options every school day. If a student has special dietary needs, please contact the Health Office and/or the Division Office.
  • Parents' Associations

All parents are members of Pine Crest School's parents' associations. The Boca Raton campus association is called the Boca Raton Parents' Association. The Fort Lauderdale campus has two parents' associations: The Lower School Family Association for Lower School families, and the Middle and Upper School Parents' Association for Middle and Upper School families. Parents' associations host monthly meetings with guest speakers and events throughout the year to establish and maintain a sense of community in support of students.
  • Parking

Parking on both campuses is at a premium. Parents are asked to follow carpool procedures for pick up and drop off. Parking for emergencies, appointments, and events is available in the visitor’s lot on the Boca Raton campus and in the visitor's parking garage on the Fort Lauderdale campus. All visitors, including parents, must check in at the security desk before entering campus.

Upper School students with a driver's license may park at school. Sophomores are required to park in the west parking lot; juniors and seniors may park in the garage as space permits. Students may purchase an annual parking pass, or park for a daily fee in the west parking lot. Information regarding parking passes is distributed by Upper School in the spring for the following academic year.
  • Preview and Registration

New students attend Preview, which is scheduled for the first week of August. During Preview, students become familiar with the campus, classroom, teachers, and schedule. In addition, each Division hosts an orientation or registration event before the first day to give students an opportunity to meet their teachers, see their classroom, and/or pick up their schedules and get their locker assignments. Details on orientation and registration will be emailed to each parent by the Division Head several weeks before the start of school.
  • Summer Packets and Reading Lists

Summer work packets and reading lists will be emailed to each parent and made available on "My Pine Crest" in early June.
  • Uniforms

Pine Crest's uniform provider for the 2016-17 school year is Jonathan Reed Uniforms located at 141 Northwest 20th Street, #H6 in Boca Raton. To avoid long lines, tailoring wait times, and lowering inventory, it is recommended that you shop for uniforms well before the week before school. For store hours or instructions on how to order online, call Jonathan Reed Uniforms at 561-910-1547.

Parents' Associations host gently used uniform sales throughout the year. In Boca Raton, the Parents' Association hosts an inventory of uniforms through "Twice But Nice". Fort Lauderdale parents' associations host the "Cub Closet" (Lower School) and "Panther Closet" (Middle and Upper School).

Physical education uniforms will be issued at registration or during the first week of school, depending on the Division.

T-shirts and Pine Crest spirit items may be purchased through the Spirit Store online or in person on both campuses during regular store hours.
Do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admission with any other questions.
