After School

Extending the Pine Crest Experience

It is common to find Pine Crest students, faculty, and coaches on campus well after the dismissal bell rings!

Parents often enroll their Lower School children in after-school enrichment activities, after-school swim or music lessons, extended day care, or a combination.

Boca Raton - Extended Day Program

We offer an Extended Day Program to families with children enrolled in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Extended Day is designed to be a convenient and helpful service to our parents and fun for our students. This program begins at dismissal each afternoon and ends promptly at 5:45 p.m. on all full days of class. Children may first go to an after- school class or activity, and then to the Extended Day Program for the remainder of the afternoon until pick up. There are no scheduled classes for our After School or Extended Day programs on half-days of school or on school holidays. For more information, please contact the After School Programs Office at 561-852-2823 or

Boca Raton - After-School Programs

Our Boca Raton campus offers several after-school programs where Lower School students may explore and develop a variety of new interests. These include dance, drama, enrichment, etiquette class, a running club, and tennis. All classes are presented in a fun and skill-building environment. There are up to three sessions of classes throughout the year, each running from seven to 13 weeks in length. Classes are typically held Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Fort Lauderdale - Extended Day

Our Fort Lauderdale Campus offers an Extended Day Program to families with children enrolled in pre-kindergarten through grade five. A Pine Crest teacher directs the program from dismissal to 6:15 p.m. on full class days. Flexibility is a prime objective of Extended Day. If parents wish, students can go first to swimming or tennis lessons, art lessons or extra-help sessions, and then join Extended Day for the remainder of the afternoon. An afternoon snack is provided. Planned activities includes time on our state-of-the-art playground, arts and crafts activities, board games, recreational reading, special guest performances, viewing of varsity team competitions, and for the older students, supervised study time.
