Alex Lanes and Trey Henry Receive Pinnacle Awards
Junior Alex Lanes has been caring for others since he was a little boy. His main services have been to the homeless shelter Starting Over, with collections of toiletries and clothing. He's also involved with Centro Mater Child Care, which provides care and education for underprivileged children. Eighth grader Traveon "Trey" Henry volunteers at a moment's notice and doesn't hesistate to help others.
While Trey on has been recognized for excellence in athletics since he was in Lower School, what has made him a leader and role model are his humility and integrity. Both teens received the 2008 Pinnacle Award presented by the Broward County Nonpublic School Association. The award is presented to students nominated by their schools, who set an example for others to follow by their actions in th home, school, or community. Congratulations!
